Family Through a Lens

'Family through a lens" is a youth exchange initiative with a twofold objective. Firstly, Participants learnt more about the some technical aspects of photography. Secondly they explored Irish and British modern concepts of family life and used photography. They looked at how the family was portrayed in the media in both countries and what the thought of it. They looked at new emerging structure to "make do" for family breakdown. They had visits to museums and galleries. We will have workshops and shooting time and it will be fully youth led as both partners are youth led organisations.
